As I have stated in previous articles, the average pedophile will have 30-40 other victims for every one he gets caught with. The Republican House Leader that resigned over allegations of naked hot-tubbing with a young, equally naked, teenage girl is in more hot water:
"There were other girls," Maher said. "After me, it was Liz … Liz Moody now. She used to be Liz Smuin."
While Maher did not provide details on the nature of that contact, she said she knew there was "some kind of relationship going on" between then-Smuin and Garn after the woman moved from Garn's Pegasus Records store in Bountiful to the Layton location, where Maher also worked." (source)
None of this has stopped the Deseret Morning News from launching a "witch hunt" against the victim. It appears that the Deseret News Editor, Joseph Cannon, is once again following the Aid and Abet a Criminal Pedophile Support Group script in another major embarrassment for the newspaper.
The fact of the matter is that Cannon was in a position to prevent Garn from rising to the top of the Utah Republican Party, but chose to withhold evidence from Law Enforcement authorities and the Utah Public. A role he has often played in his association with the Deseret News. In some states this would also constitute a Felony (Obstruction of Justice). Heck, in some third world banana Republics this would be prosecuted as a felony.
Funny, I guess you can't prosecute a Pedophile in Utah when he stands up before the State Legislature, admits giving alcohol to an underage girl, and then sitting in a hotel room hot-tub "all naked" with her. In most states, the confession alone is enough to prosecute, especially the one given so willingly by Mr. Garn.
But, remember, we are talking about Joe Cannon's newspaper here. The same one that said nothing, for a decade, about Garn's carnal activities. The same one that is directly responsible for whatever other victims Garn has produced in the last 10 years.
Garn could be prosecuted for a host of law-breaking activities that have nothing to do with the statute of limitations, but, it appears that they only write articles defending Pedophiles in the Deseret News. Or articles that are designed to discredit their victims.
Would you trust your daughter with these people?
