Everyday I receive communications like this one from a few of my fellow Mormons:
"I can understand your innate desire to sound a word and a warning regarding the NWO & Illuminati global secret combinations, but if you are doing nothing to bring people to Christ with your ministry through it, then isn't it all in vain? I see nothing in your writings that testifies of the love of Our Savior and that the faithful are awaiting His glorious return and will recognize Him, or that He will succor and comfort His people in that great and dreadful day. Though chaos be the order of the day, Christ's people will not fear and will continue to love and be at peace in their hearts knowing Whom they serve. Christ's elect do not fear death or the things that are surely coming to pass--instead, we rejoice in the evidence that His coming in Glory to put down the wicked is ever closer. Do you not think your time & efforts would be best served by bringing your fellow men/women to their Redeemer and the peace in their hearts that only He can provide? When all is said and done, if you haven't brought people closer to the Lord, Jesus Christ, then what's it all for? Think About It." (Name Redacted)
The Book of Mormon tells of an individual in a similar situation as the one I and others find themselves in:
3 And now behold, I say unto you that myself, and also my men, and also Helaman and his men, have suffered exceedingly great sufferings; yea, even hunger, thirst, and fatigue, and all manner of afflictions of every kind.
4 But behold, were this all we had suffered we would not murmur nor complain.
5 But behold, great has been the slaughter among our people; yea, thousands have fallen by the sword, while it might have otherwise been if ye had rendered unto our armies sufficient strength and succor for them. Yea, great has been your neglect towards us.
6 And now behold, we desire to know the cause of this exceedingly great neglect; yea, we desire to know the cause of your thoughtless state.
7 Can you think to sit upon your thrones in a state of thoughtless stupor, while your enemies are spreading the work of death around you? Yea, while they are murdering thousands of your brethren—
8 Yea, even they who have looked up to you for protection, yea, have placed you in a situation that ye might have succored them, yea, ye might have sent armies unto them, to have strengthened them, and have saved thousands of them from falling by the sword.
9 But behold, this is not all—ye have withheld your provisions from them, insomuch that many have fought and bled out their lives because of their great desires which they had for the welfare of this people; yea, and this they have done when they were about to perish with hunger, because of your exceedingly great neglect towards them.
10 And now, my beloved brethren—for ye ought to be beloved; yea, and ye ought to have stirred yourselves more diligently for the welfare and the freedom of this people; but behold, ye have neglected them insomuch that the blood of thousands shall come upon your heads for vengeance; yea, for known unto God were all their cries, and all their sufferings—
11 Behold, could ye suppose that ye could sit upon your thrones, and because of the exceeding goodness of God ye could do nothing and he would deliver you? Behold, if ye have supposed this ye have supposed in vain.
12 Do ye suppose that, because so many of your brethren have been killed it is because of their wickedness? I say unto you, if ye have supposed this ye have supposed in vain; for I say unto you, there are many who have fallen by the sword; and behold it is to your condemnation;
13 For the Lord suffereth the righteous to be slain that his justice and judgment may come upon the wicked; therefore ye need not suppose that the righteous are lost because they are slain; but behold, they do enter into the rest of the Lord their God.
14 And now behold, I say unto you, I fear exceedingly that the judgments of God will come upon this people, because of their exceeding slothfulness, yea, even the slothfulness of our government, and their exceedingly great neglect towards their brethren, yea, towards those who have been slain.
15 For were it not for the wickedness which first commenced at our head, we could have withstood our enemies that they could have gained no power over us. (Source)
If you truly want to follow Jesus Christ than you better understand what He was really about. I quote:
"7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.... "
........
12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
14 Let them alone: they be blind bleaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
......
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men’s bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,
30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.
31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which akilled the bprophets.
32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.
33 Ye serpents, ye ageneration of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
34¶ Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:
35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.
36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.
I am often asked if I am a Prophet of God. I would have to respond that, if not, then someone better let these self-righteous hypocrites know, so that they can stop trying to destroy me and those that I love. They have stolen my wealth, my health, my good name. I have been shot at, almost murdered in a set-up car accident and narrowly escaped death on so many occasions I could not list them all here. All because of my love for the truth and the true testimony that I have of Jesus Christ.
If God has sent me to prophesize and warn a group of slothful and disobedient people, that think they can stay out of the devil's way and still be friends with God, then so be it. I have done my duty. When severe judgments are poured out upon the same slothful and disobedient people, and they find their promised land taken away from them and given to others that are not so slothful and disobedient, they will only have themselves to blame. My hands and garments are free from their blood.
I grow weary of those that say, "the bed is too short, cut off his legs". Or, "the bed is too long, stretch him out a bit." Maybe the problem is, you need to buy a new bed.
