Americans used to be "rugged individualists" that looked at government through suspicious eyes and eschewed the tenets of dependence. They have grown accustomed to Institutionalization and the solutions that lie outside themselves. I was speaking to a Mormon Bishop yesterday. I asked him if the Church was preparing "places of refuge" for the membership and the coming apocalypse.
His response was a hearty "No." He then went on to communicate that the Church has been warning its members to prepare for years.
Yet, I have heard that a relatively small percentage of Mormons actually have any food storage at all. On the other hand, I have heard those without food storage joke about taking from the those that have. The grasshopper and the ant. While the ant labored throughout the summer, the grasshopper was busy enjoying the frivolities of life. When winter came, the starving grasshopper appealed to the ant to share. The ant refused and the grasshopper was left to perish.
When Noah was building the Ark, his friends and neighbors refused to lend assistance and did everything they could to impede his work. Then the animals came. Then the rain. Noah was a good man. I am sure his heart went out to his foolish friends and neighbors that had ignored his warnings. Yet, he couldn't help them if he had wanted to.
The Bible says that God "sealed the door of the Ark" so that no-one could get in or out.
I can't help but wonder if God will place a wall between the righteous and the wicked that is similar to the barrier he created between Noah and his neighbors. Good people wanting to share, but forbidden from helping those who should have helped themselves.
Those that have relied on Institutions for the support of themselves and their families, when they were able to labor with their own hands, will be given the choice. Take the Mark of the Beast and continue to eat, drink and have shelter, or face execution as a political and religious dissident.
The Satanic Psychopaths will require labor as well. Hard labor in one of their forced labor camps, similar to the ones they created in Nazi Germany, Communist China, North Korea and Communist Russia. Those unwilling to live the life of slavery will be terminated. Those unable to labor will be terminated. Those too old, sick or disabled to labor will be terminated.
On the other hand, God will help those that have helped themselves. Those that obey His 10 Commandments, work hard and have become self-reliant, will be inspired to form their own communities of like minded individuals. The sheep will be separated from the goats.
I am also of the belief that God will make some provision, through the righteous, for those that would labor if they could, in His communities. He does not cast out the worthy poor, sick, aged or disabled that are doing the best they can. As Jesus explained:
16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:
17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.
20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. (Source)
So, my friends, do not be discouraged in your preparations. Store food, store guns and ammunition, store portable water purifiers and anything else that you think you and your family can use. Convert your excess dollars to physical silver and gold while they still have any value left. Do it now, while the sun is still shining.
