Mitt Romney's company, Bain Capital, owns Clear Channel Communications. This means they also own Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and a variety of other Neo-con broadcasters that gave us our Tea Party Congress. Its a Romney Congress, and will continue to laugh in the face of true Patriots across America as it pursues the goals of the Satanic Psychopaths to dismantle the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.
This week, the Romney Congress will vote to renew provisions of the Orwellian legislation known as the Patriot Act. (Source)
"The Patriot Act, one of most prominent expansions of federal authority in the past decade, received overwhelming Republican backing in 2006 when it was first up for renewal. This year, even as the surge of the tea party brought to Washington a new legion of lawmakers suspicious of government power, the law again has a good chance of being reauthorized.
The first test comes this month, when three provisions of the act giving the government greater ability to monitor suspected terrorists expire and Congress must decide whether to extend them." (Source)
Tea Party politicians like Rand Paul compared the Patriot Act to Gun Control and called for its repeal during their campaigns for Congress. Well, here is his chance.
Three sections of the USA Patriot Act expire Feb. 28:
Roving surveillance of suspects who try to evade court-authorized wiretaps under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
Access to business records related to intelligence and terrorism investigations.
Surveillance of a "lone wolf" or suspect who isn't affiliated with a known group or foreign power. (Ibid)
If the British had the Patriot Act during the early stages of the American Revolution, there would have been no "Tea Party". The Boston massacre would have been labelled as an approriate response to "Terrorism" (The Patriots threw snowballs at British Troops before being massacred), and the Declaration of Independence would have been declared a "List of Terrorist Demands."
You see, it isn't about Terrorism after all. Its about corrupt Satanic Psychopaths using the forces of government to stop True Patriots from criticizing their evil schemes. Its about fear and intimidation. Its about doing bad things to this world of ours without fear of exposure.
If Thomas Jefferson were alive today, he would have been lambasted by the likes of Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity for being an extremist. George Washington would have been dishonorably discharged for refusing to wear a United Nations Beret. Paul Revere would be rotting in a jail cell for inflamatory speech and Samuel Adams would be on the lamb for organizing a rally opposed to extending the Patriot Act outside of a "Free Speech" zone.
"Whether or not Samuel Adams helped plan the Boston Tea Party is unknown, but he immediately worked to publicize and defend it. He argued that the Tea Party was not the act of a lawless mob, but was instead a principled protest and the only remaining option the people had to defend their constitutional rights.
Governor Thomas Hutchinson had been urging London to take a hard line with the Sons of Liberty. If he had done what the other royal governors had done and let the ship owners and captains resolve the issue with the colonists, the Dartmouth, Eleanor and the Beaver would have left without unloading any tea.
In Britain, even those politicians considered friends of the colonies were appalled and this act united all parties there against the colonies. The Prime Minister Lord North said, "Whatever may be the consequence, we must risk something; if we do not, all is over". The British government felt this action could not remain unpunished, and responded by closing the port of Boston and putting in place other laws known as the "Coercive Acts".
In the colonies, Benjamin Franklin stated that the destroyed tea must be repaid, all 90,000 pounds. Robert Murray, a New York merchant went to Lord North with three other merchants and offered to pay for the losses, but the offer was turned down. A number of colonists were inspired to carry out similar acts, such as the burning of the Peggy Stewart. The Boston Tea Party eventually proved to be one of the many reactions that led to the American Revolutionary War.
In February, 1775, Britain passed the Conciliatory Resolution, which ended taxation for any colony that satisfactorily provided for the imperial defense and the upkeep of imperial officers. The Tea Act was repealed with the Taxation of Colonies Act 1778." (Source)
Say what you want about the Founding Fathers, but they knew the smell of tyranny. They were also very good at discerning the difference between a Patriot and a Loyalist. Even when the Loyalist wrapped himself in the flag and spouted Patriotic ideals.
Is that the Masonic "M" and "Devil's Claw" Romney is Flashing?
