The Constitution is a sacred document to members of the LDS Church. It is also an important principal of Mormon Scriptures, including the Book of Mormon and Doctrine and Covenants. the Book of Mormon repeatedly mentions the importance of Freedom and decries the brutalities of dictatorship and monarchy. In fact, those that denied their Freedom were punished with death.
In Doctrine and Covenants, these principals are reaffirmed:
5 And that law of the land which is constitutional, supporting that principle of freedom in maintaining rights and privileges, belongs to all mankind, and is justifiable before me.
6 Therefore, I, the Lord, justify you, and your brethren of my church, in befriending that law which is the constitutional law of the land; (Source).....
If there was any question of the meaning of the above LDS scripture...
77 According to the laws and constitution of the people, which I have suffered to be established, and should be maintained for the rights and protection of all flesh, according to just and holy principles;
• • •
80 And for this purpose have I established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood.
I will say it right here and right now. If any man, regardless of his position in or out of the Church, turns his back on the Constitution, he is turning his back on God the Father and Jesus Christ. He is the worst kind of apostate, because it is his aim to deprive all men of their Constitutional Liberties and bring them down into the shackles of the Satanic Conspiracy which now dominates the affairs of men.
I don't care if he is a prophet or a priest, peasant or politician. If he fights against the Constitution, he fights against Jesus Christ and is working for the devil. Period.
"The elections are over, and I have a personal request:
Could we lay off talking about the Constitution for a while?
The tea party is obsessed with the Constitution. Talk show host Glenn Beck waves it like a panacea. Newly elected tea party politicians are holding up copies like they're clutching the Holy Grail.
These people are acting weird. They're starting to scare me.
I'm not saying it's not a good idea to pay down the national debt and give some rights back to states where they belong. I'm saying I'm tired of the Constitution being referred to as a magic potion with a secret formula that contains a special endowed power known only to a select enlightened few." (Source)
No, this is not a CFR article written by Jon Huntsman. Nor is this a plea from Globalist Conspirator Mitt Romney. True Orrin Hatch and Bob Bennet have worked hard to gut the Constitution and Bill of Rights, but they did not write it either. The truth is, this came as an editorial from the LDS Church owned newspaper in Salt Lake, the Deseret News. Over which the Mormon Church has full control when it comes to Editorial policy. So, it would be safe to say that the editorial policy of the Deseret News, is the editorial policy of the Mormon Church.
Which should be a slap in the face of every patriotic member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But, I digress. The article continues:
"For years, the Constitution did not give black people the right to vote.
For even longer years, more than a century actually, it did not give women the right to vote; and for longer years yet, Native Americans.
Do the tea partiers want us to get back to that Constitution?
Do they want us to get back to the Constitution that didn't have a Bill of Rights? Or the one that didn't contain all of the 27 amendments that are now included?
If we go back too far, we lose the right to bear arms.
Should we go back to the Constitution that didn't stop half the states from walking out in 1861?" (Source)
How about we use some common sense here folks. The Constitution, as it was originally written, permitted the document to be amended to correct the above injustices. God endorses that right, so, can we stop the Satanic Psychopathic propaganda right here and now? All of the above arguments were written and espoused by the American Communist Party, and used to foment racial discord. I don't think that Ezra Taft Benson, an avid anti-communist, would be pleased to hear someone that shares his name spouting their rhetoric.
I also doubt that Ezra Taft Benson would be pleased to hear Constutionalists and Freedom-Loving Patriots referred to as "Extremists" either:
But the Constitution has never stopped evolving. Those original 4,500 words have expanded to 8,000 words over the years and will no doubt expand some more. The Constitution has always been a work in progress; a never-ending national debate with the difference between who's right and who's wrong decided more often than not by a 5-4 vote.
It's just annoying to see extremists waving it around like it's the latest "The Secret." If it helped other extremists get you elected or inflated your ratings, fine, now can we talk about something else? (Source)
Mitt Romney owns Glenn Beck and the Tea Party through his ownership of Clear Channel Communications. If the newly elected Tea Party Republicans actually do follow the Constitution then they will have to abolish the Federal Reserve, repeal Socialism, go to gold and silver as currency and stop all wars of aggression. They would also have to repeal 90% of the corrupt legislation that Congress has passed since it was bought by the Illuminati Banksters.
No doubt, they will mount an effort to implement martial law after the next False Flag Terror event or the coming Economic Collapse. We will need to be able to stand on our own two feet when that happens and resist Tyranny to the fullest of our abilities. In the mean time, people should contact the Deseret News and let them know that they will not tolerate hired globalist hacks attacking their Constitution and Bill of Rights.
