Deseret News Editor, Joseph Cannon, stands currently accused of aiding and abetting a Pedophile Cover-up that culminated in the resignation of the Utah House Republican Majority Leader. While Cannon, who sat on the Board of the Deseret News and was the State Republican Chairman, has been implicated in the "cover-up", it is unlikely that he will resign willingly. Cannon is no stranger to scandal. Consider the following:
1. Joe Cannon was on the Olympic Committee in Utah that bribed and provided young female "escorts" to visiting members of the International Olympics Committee. Whether or not the "escorts" provided additional services has neither been investigated or reported. Mitt Romney has been accused of "whitewashing" the investigation on behalf of Joe Cannon and others.
2. Joseph Cannon has numerous links to now convicted Felon, Jack Abramoff. Abramoff was sent to Federal Prison for his involvement in the Republican Indian Gaming Scheme and his potential involvement in the slaying of Gus Boulos. Boulos was gunned down after challenging a Abramoff on a very large bad check used to buy his "Sun Cruz" Casino boats. The same Sun Cruz casino boats that entertained the 911 hijackers.
3. Joseph Cannon has also been linked to Wally Hilliard, the man who financed the school that trained the 911 hijackers. Wally's planes also have a tendency to be busted for transporting narcotics in a potential CIA front operation. Hilliard reportedly joined the Mormon Church after 911 and served as a Bishop.
4. Joseph Cannon has also been tied to now convicted Felon, David Safavian. Safavian served as Chief of Staff for Joseph's brother, Christopher Cannon, a former member of the US Congress. Safavian and Christopher Cannon torpedoed a law that would have made internet gambling illegal in the United States, by adding a "poison pill" that included horse racing.
5. Joseph Cannon has been implicated in a scheme to defraud the US taxpayers and the Federal Pension Guarantee Corporation. It appears that he stripped 85 million dollars in assets from his former company, Geneva Steel, and left the Pension Plan only 10% funded, before he took it into bankruptcy. This plan also defrauded creditors and employees of the company. This author is responsible for forcing Cannon to return the assets to the company for liquidation and payout to both creditors and Pensioners. Unfortunately, not before some committed suicide and others pursued a life of crime.
6. Joseph Cannon has also been implicated in a scheme involving Farmers Insurance and a group of disgruntled Mormon employees who were being discriminated against by the company because of their religion. Cannon and his Brother appear to have "shaken down Farmers Insurance" for political donations, in exchange for shutting down criminal investigations against the company. A 1.3 million dollar campaign loan belonging to Chris Cannon was also mysteriously paid off without explanation.
7. Joseph Cannon signed an oath to fully support the advancement of the Homosexual Agenda for a San Francisco Lobbying firm, contrary to the Editorial policy of the Deseret News.
8. This author is convinced that Joseph Cannon was behind efforts to take his life, destroy his health, devastate his employment and businesses and ruin him financially. I also believe that there is an organized criminal conspiracy hidden deeply within the Mormon Church and Joseph Cannon is at its center.
